Invalid Status Information and Action Steps
Texas residents who submitted their appliance rebate application paperwork may check their rebate status online or call (877) 581-1993.
An "Invalid" status reflects either an incomplete or denied application. For waitlist applicants, an Invalid status could also indicate funds are not yet available to fulfill waitlist rebate applications.
If you received a resubmission letter for an incomplete claim, locate the two-letter reason code(s) and refer to the list below to identify the necessary action steps to resolve the issue. For further assistance, please call (877) 581-1993.
All resubmissions should be submitted and postmarked by the date and to the address listed on your resubmission letter.

| IA | Invalid Appliance Category | You have requested a rebate for an appliance category that does not match the original appliance category reserved. | You can contact a customer service representative at (877) 581-1993 to provide a valid reason for the category change. |
| IC | Installation Certificate Missing/Incomplete | The proof of installation section is not complete on the rebate application. | If needed, you can reprint your rebate application form and resubmit a completed proof of proper installation (section C) to the Texas Trade Up Appliance Rebate Program. Look for your appliance on the eligible appliances list if necessary. You can resubmit a receipt or invoice that clearly identifies the purchased appliance as an Energy Star qualified model to Texas Trade Up Appliance Rebate Program. You may need to contact your retailer or contractor to obtain this information. |
| IR | Invalid or Incomplete Receipt | The submitted sales receipt is missing some required information or does not indicate final payment, such as in a bid or price request. | You can resubmit a receipt or invoice to the Texas Trade Up Appliance Rebate Program that clearly shows the following:
